"Hey there, sailor" was a personal piece inspired by a dream I had of a mermaid luring sailors to their death. It was also a personal challenge to make a grim subject rather humorous. The original is 12 by 16, and is available as limited edition prints only.  This piece also won best fantasy at Conduti 2008.
