because I'm asked this a couple of times. "Is this a drawing of Amaterasu?"

The answer is... sure. If you want it to be. I *love* the stories of her hiding herself away, but to be honest I didn't have her in mind when I worked on this. This was a set of two women portraying the sun and moon, and unfortunately there is no female counterpart to Amaterasu. There is a male counterpart, but I'm not in the mood to draw a male moon. So... if it makes you happy to see her as Amaterasu, then by all means.
